English speaking psychologist
Originally from Canada and a native English speaker, I offer a supportive space for individuals seeking therapy in France. I understand firsthand the challenges of adapting to life abroad and can help you navigate the emotional, cultural, and practical aspects of being an expat. In my practice, I support clients facing a wide range of mental-health concerns, including anxiety, depression, eating disorders, burn-out, addiction, trauma, etc.
My approach
I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches to provide care that is tailored to each person’s unique needs. Whether you’re seeking support for yourself, your child, or your adolescent, I offer a collaborative space to navigate challenges and build meaningful change. For added flexibility and accessibility, I can also provide secure online therapy, making it easier to receive support wherever you are.
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a short-term approach that helps replace negative thoughts and maladaptive behaviors with responses that are more accurate and aligned with reality.
Therapist and client work together to identify, understand, and change difficulties by focusing on three essential components: emotions, thoughts, and behaviors.
Rooted in the present moment, CBT is based on a shared understanding of the problem and offers practical tools to support everyday change. Over time, it helps reduce the overwhelming symptoms that accompany psychological distress.
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy
Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a modern therapeutic approach that helps cultivate a more flexible and peaceful relationship with one’s thoughts and emotions. Rather than fighting against what feels difficult, ACT encourages learning to welcome internal experiences with greater openness. This attitude of acceptance reduces the impact of psychological suffering and restores a sense of freedom from automatic mental patterns.
At the same time, ACT invites each person to commit to meaningful actions that align with their core values. It helps clarify what truly matters and supports progress in that direction, even in the presence of obstacles or discomfort. The goal is not to eliminate pain, but to build a life that is richer, more authentic, and more aligned with what genuinely matters.
Schema Therapy
Schema Therapy, developed by Jeffrey Young, aims to identify and transform early maladaptive schemas—patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that were formed in childhood and tend to repeat themselves in adulthood. These schemas influence how a person perceives themselves, behaves, and relates to others, sometimes in painful or limiting ways. Therapy helps recognize these deeply rooted patterns and understand how they show up in everyday life.
Other
I am also trained in several techniques that I integrate into therapy according to each person’s needs, including:

Resilience isn’t about avoiding hardship; it’s about knowing you can get through it
